Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, and Cyber Monday on November 30. That is when portable power stations usually hit their lowest prices of the year. Last year, 1kWh and 2kWh models from EcoFlow, Jackery, Anker SOLIX and BLUETTI dropped to roughly $0.34 to $0.45 per watt-hour. If a deal is above that range, it is probably not the real Black Friday price. Below you will find a target price for each popular model, a quick way to spot fake discounts, and which size actually fits your needs.
The live Amazon price is shown in each product card. Prices change several times a day in November, so compare the card with the target before you buy.
The quick rule: price per watt-hour
Brands change “list prices” all the time, so a big “50% off” badge means little. The honest way to compare is to divide the price by the battery capacity in watt-hours (Wh).
| Size class | Normal price per Wh | Good Black Friday deal | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 500Wh (compact) | $0.90 – $1.10 | $0.60 – $0.75 | 256Wh unit under ~$190 |
| About 1kWh | $0.55 – $0.75 | $0.37 – $0.45 | 1,024Wh unit under ~$460 |
| About 2kWh | $0.45 – $0.60 | $0.34 – $0.42 | 2,048Wh unit under ~$860 |
| 3kWh and up (home backup) | $0.45 – $0.70 | $0.33 – $0.45 | 3,072Wh unit under ~$1,380 |
These ranges come from the Black Friday 2025 lows reported by major deal trackers. For example, a 2,048Wh EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max was reported at $699 (about $0.34/Wh) and the 3,072Wh DELTA 3 Ultra at $999 (about $0.33/Wh). They are targets, not guarantees.
Target prices for the models worth watching
We picked the models we already cover in our guides. Each one has a target price based on the per-Wh math above. If the card shows the target or less, it is a strong deal.
| Model | Capacity | Output | Black Friday target | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow RIVER 3 | 245Wh | 300W | $179 or less | Phones, laptops, CPAP (no humidifier), short trips |
| Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 | 1,024Wh | 2,000W | $449 or less | Fast recharge, camping, fridge during outages |
| Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 | 1,070Wh | 1,500W | $449 or less | Simple all-rounder, light for its size |
| BLUETTI AC180 | 1,152Wh | 1,800W | $449 or less | Most Wh per dollar in the 1kWh class |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus | 1,024Wh | 1,800W | $599 or less | Home backup with near-instant switchover (UPS) |
| Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 | 2,042Wh | 2,200W | $799 or less | Fridge plus furnace blower through a long outage |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max | 2,048Wh | 2,400W | $699 or less | Best 2kWh value if it repeats last year’s low |
| EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 | 4,096Wh | 4,000W (120/240V) | $2,500 or less | Whole-circuit home backup, 240V well pump |
Compact pick: EcoFlow RIVER 3
Small enough for a backpack and fine for phones, laptops, Wi-Fi routers and a CPAP without the humidifier for one night. It will not run a fridge for long.
Best 1kWh deals: Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2, Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 and BLUETTI AC180
The 1kWh class is where most buyers land. All three run a full-size refrigerator (about 60W average) for roughly 13 to 16 hours (1,024Wh × 0.85 ÷ 60W ≈ 14.5 hours). The Anker recharges fastest from the wall, the Jackery is the lightest, and the BLUETTI gives the most capacity for the money.
Best for home backup on a budget: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus
It costs a bit more per Wh than the other 1kWh units, but it switches over in about 10 milliseconds, so a desktop PC, modem or CPAP keeps running when the grid drops. It can also add an extra battery later.
Best 2kWh deals: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max and Jackery Explorer 2000 v2
Two kilowatt-hours is the sweet spot for winter outages: enough to keep a fridge, a gas furnace blower and some lights going for about a day. Last year the DELTA 3 Max was the price leader in this class; the Jackery is the simpler, quieter choice.
Whole-home backup: EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3
Only worth it if you need 240V (well pump, some furnaces) or want to power whole circuits through a transfer switch. At this price level, Black Friday savings can reach hundreds of dollars, so it is the one model where waiting really pays.
When do Black Friday power station sales start?
- Early November: Amazon and the brands usually start “early Black Friday” deals. Prices are often already close to the final low.
- Black Friday week (Nov 20–27): brand stores and Amazon usually match each other. This is when most of last year’s lowest prices appeared.
- Cyber Monday (Nov 30): mostly the same prices, sometimes with extra bundles (solar panels or extra batteries).
- December: prices often climb back before winter storms, so do not count on a second chance.
How to spot a fake Black Friday deal
- Do the per-Wh math. A “$1,999, now $999” 2kWh unit is $0.49/Wh: fine, but not a Black Friday low.
- Check the price history. Free tools like Keepa or CamelCamelCamel show whether the “was” price was ever real.
- Compare the battery chemistry. Every model above uses LiFePO4 (thousands of cycles). Very cheap units may use older lithium-ion that wears out much faster.
- Watch the bundles. A bundle with a solar panel is only a deal if you needed the panel. See our solar panels for power stations guide before paying extra.
- Look at the seller. Buy from the brand’s official Amazon store, so the warranty is valid.
Which size do you actually need?
| You want to power | Size to buy |
|---|---|
| Phones, laptop, CPAP for a night or two | 250 – 500Wh |
| Fridge for half a day, camping, a TV | About 1kWh |
| Fridge + gas furnace blower + lights through a winter outage | About 2kWh |
| Whole circuits, well pump, multi-day outages | 3kWh and up, ideally expandable |

FAQ
Is Black Friday the best time to buy a portable power station?
Usually yes. Last year most 1kWh and 2kWh models reached their lowest price of the year during Black Friday week. Prime Day in the summer is the other strong moment.
Should I buy now or wait for Black Friday?
If you need power now (a storm is coming, a trip is booked), buy now: the difference is usually $50 to $200. If not, wait. Amazon returns bought from November usually stay open into January, which gives you time to compare.
Are Amazon prices lower than the brand websites?
Often they are the same. Brand stores sometimes add free gifts or bundles, while Amazon is easier for returns. Compare the final price per Wh, not the badge.
Is a power station better than a gas generator for outages?
For indoor use, yes: no fumes, no noise and no fuel to store. A gas generator still wins for running central AC or many days without sun. See power station vs generator.
