Every buying guide and review on Ondeacha follows the same process. We want you to know exactly where our recommendations come from, and where their limits are.
1. We start with the questions buyers actually ask
Before writing, we look at what people search for and ask in forums and owner communities: which model is worth it, what breaks first, whether a feature matters, how much a product costs to run. Each article is built to answer those questions directly.
2. We research every product on the list
For each product we consider, we check:
- Specifications from the manufacturer, including the fine print (real capacity, power draw, noise levels, dimensions).
- Owner feedback at scale — patterns across hundreds of verified buyer reviews, with special attention to complaints that show up months after purchase.
- Warranty and support — length, what it covers, and how easy parts are to find.
- Price history and value — what the product usually sells for, and whether cheaper alternatives do the same job.
- Independent sources such as manufacturer manuals, safety listings, and published test data when available.
3. We say how we know what we know
Unless an article states that we tested a product hands-on, our recommendations are based on research, not on our own physical testing. We never invent test results, personal experiences, or measurements.
4. We pick for different buyers, not one “winner”
The best product for a small apartment is rarely the best for a large house. Our lists name a pick for specific situations (budget, size, use case) and explain who should skip it.
5. Money never decides the ranking
We earn commissions from some retailers, including Amazon. Commissions do not affect which products we recommend or the order we list them in, and brands cannot pay for placement. Details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.
6. We keep guides up to date
Products get discontinued and prices move. We review our guides regularly and show the date of the last update at the top of each article. If you spot something outdated or wrong, please tell us through our contact page — corrections are welcome.
