By use
These two are the most capable 1kWh power stations you can buy right now, and both come with a 5-year warranty and a fast UPS mode. They have the same 1,024Wh capacity. The real question is what you value more: more output and less weight (Anker) or more solar and room to expand (EcoFlow).
The verdict in 30 seconds
- Buy the Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 if you want to run high-watt appliances, carry it around, and charge it mostly from the wall.
- Buy the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus if you’ll rely on solar panels or want to add batteries later for longer outages.

Where the Anker wins
- Output: 2,000W continuous and a 3,000W surge handle microwaves, kettles, and fridge compressors with more headroom.
- Weight: 2.7 lb lighter — noticeable if you carry it to the car or campsite often.
- Wall charging: slightly faster in fast mode (set in the app).
Where the EcoFlow wins
- Solar: 1,000W across two inputs versus 600W. If panels are part of your plan, the DELTA 3 Plus refills far faster and can keep up with a fridge through a long outage.
- Expansion: designed to take add-on batteries, so you can grow capacity instead of replacing the unit.
- Outlets: one more AC outlet (six versus five).
What they’ll run
| Device | Anker C1000 Gen 2 | EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Full-size fridge | Yes (3,000W surge) | Usually yes; check your fridge’s start-up draw |
| 1,500–1,800W microwave or kettle | Yes | Yes, up to 1,800W |
| CPAP, router, lights | Yes, with UPS | Yes, with UPS |
| Starlink Standard (90W) | About 9.7 hours | About 9.7 hours |
Which should you buy?
- Apartment or suburban outage backup, wall charging: Anker.
- Rural home with frequent long outages and solar panels: EcoFlow.
- Van life with roof panels: EcoFlow.
- Camping with cooking appliances: Anker.
Common questions
Is X-Boost the same as surge power?
No. X-Boost lets certain resistive appliances (like heaters or kettles) rated above 1,800W run by lowering their voltage, so they work at reduced power. A surge rating is the short burst of extra power used to start motors. For compressors and pumps, the surge rating is what matters.
Which is better for a CPAP?
Both have fast UPS switchover and plenty of capacity — roughly 22 hours of a 40W CPAP without the humidifier. Pick on other factors. See power stations for CPAP.
